Fishing Guides

I have a few guides that I like, each for different reasons and I am going to share a few with you. Guides are a valuable resource and a good investment of your money. Not only are they allstars in their sport but also they are usually connected with other guides in their buddy network. Because I moved in the last few years I needed to learn my local area and what better way than to go with a few different guides.

My top local guide (Scappoose Area) is Dustin of Down to fish. He has lived in the area his whole life and knows every inch of the water in this area. He is also super chill and that makes for a relaxing day while catching fish. Contact him on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/DustinStansbury/ .

My first regular guide that really got me off to a great start is Brandon Glass of Team hookup guide service. He is a solid guide that has a good network and spend alot of time on the water. His experience is definitely an asset and you can learn alot just being on his boat. Brandon has one of the larger boats on the water, so if you have a large group he can cover it. Also it is a good idea to get a group large enough to cover the trip so you can fish with people you know. Contact him on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/teamhookupfishing/.

Then there is the “Fish whisperer”, Nick Popov of Peel The Reel Guide Service. I have fished with this guy a hand full of times and when no one is catching fish he just seems to find them. He is a nice guy and quite a character so you will have a great time. Contact him on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Peelthereelguideservice/

There are so many other great guides out there that I can’t list them all but I will link a few more that I would pay to fish with anytime.
